What is the meaning of life?
WALL-E can stimulate discussions about taking care of the Earth, discernment, and the meaning of life. WALL-E can also inspire talk about Phariseeism, and the kinds of sacrifices and commitment that go hand in hand with love.
Film Synopsis: After humans turn Earth into a giant waste dump, they evacuate to space and leave a band of robots to clean the place up for them. Unfortunately the task is too great, and now, long after the time for the human return has come and gone, only little WALL-E, the trash-compacting robot, is left to deal with the the litter.

Lonely and desirous of companionship, WALL-E is thrilled when EVE arrives to scout out the planet for signs of life -- an indication that humans can come back. They strike up a little romance, until EVE is suddenly whisked away to the mother ship. WALL-E, not wanting to lose his true companion, risks all to be with her.

Another film from Pixar that hits it out of the park, WALL-E is filled with good sermon illustration material and discussion points.
    Genre: Animated
    Rating: G
Content Advisory: WALL-E contains some exciting moments of intense action, but the film is appropriate for the entire family.
