Film Synopsis: Judah Ben-Hur is part of a noble Jewish family living in Jerusalem at the time of Christ. When Judah's childhood friend, Messala, comes back to the city with the new Roman governor, they clash over their political differences. Judah is sentenced to the galleys aboard a Roman ship, while his mother and sister are thrown into prison. Judah vows revenge at any cost, but is unprepared for the changes that ensue when the life of Christ intersects with his own.
